We are happy to report that we have a final date for Cullen's first surgery- March 24th. Cullen will have the Latham device inserted into the roof of his mouth during this surgery. This will bring his gums back into alignment in preparation for his lip repair. He will likely need to wear this device for at least 8 weeks.
From what we understand this is a 3 hour outpatient surgery. It requires general anesthesia so Cullen will likely have to fast for 8 hours before his surgery. That should be fun!
We are excited to start the process and will keep everyone posted as things progress.
